MEET RON

With over 30 years of experience in the culinary arts, Ron made a life-changing decision to shift his focus to community work—driven by lived experience and a passion to support others on their journey to healing, stability, and growth.

Today, he serves as a Community Safety Worker, drawing from his personal experiences with substance use recovery, mental health challenges, and successful reentry following incarceration. Ron's journey has given him a deep understanding of the barriers many face and the importance of having access to empathetic, nonjudgmental support systems.

Ron believes that change begins with connection, and aims to be a resource and a guide for others navigating similar paths. He's learned how to recognize when he needs help, and more importantly, how and where to find it—and he uses that insight to uplift those around him.

Ron hold an Associate Degree in Applied Science and finds personal fulfillment in using his story to inspire and support individuals seeking a better future. His work is grounded in empathy, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves a second chance and someone to believe in them.
