Michael Alston was born and raised in Madison, and at the age of 16 began working with youth to prevent them from facing the same challenges he endured growing up. Michael works closely with families and neighborhoods on the westside of Madison to provide resources and mediation.

Michael has spent nearly the last decade developing relationships in the Meadowood neighborhood working to contribute to youth development in multiple roles such as: Program Leader, Youth Director, Media Director, and Service Facilitator with MSCR, as well as the ADE Supports/Behavior Education Assistant and Special Education Assistant with MMSD.
